2GB of RAM is typically more than sufficient and some installs (particularly Linux-based installs) can often happily run with even less. *In general, Plex Media Server doesn’t require large amounts of RAM. Then after the purchase start the server back up and re-connect.Plex is software that allows you to manage your media and provides the ability to stream your media while away. What I have learned is that maybe roku users should disconnect from the server before purchasing the channel. Plus I can only start the server from the CL when I start from the web admin it basically just sits there spinning its wheels, stuck in the process of starting up.
So, It really comes down to the server when started creates the errant symbolic link and then dies. I have uninstalled and re-installed with restarts, the plex server. Thereby preventing me from accessing the Plex server page through the web admin. Once I start the service, the plex server dies and I get the same error referencing the symbolic link. Once I disconnected from the server thru roku, then in the clearOS web admin I could access the Plex server page with the server stopped. The issue appeared to happen right after I was forced to purchase the Plex channel on my roku. Thank you for the help! The issue is still not resolved. I just haven't found the the last piece(s) as of yet. I am wondering if I able to clear out the bind address?
